A day of conversation, collaboration, and shared reflection held during Fashion Revolution Week, created in partnership with Il Vestito Verde and Drip Italy. Through meaningful discussions and a look toward the future, we explored how each of us can help make a difference...

Part of a Global Movement...

"This event was created to build connections, strengthen community, and spark the kind of collective energy that leads to greater awareness," explained Viviana, Communications Manager at Spazio 3R.
The event took place during Fashion Revolution Week, the annual campaign that commemorates the tragic collapse of the Rana Plaza factory complex in Bangladesh on April 24, 2013. The disaster claimed the lives of more than 1,100 garment workers producing clothing for fast-fashion companies.
In the years that followed, Fashion Revolution emerged as a global movement, encouraging people to look more closely at what lies behind the fashion industry—and behind the clothes we wear every day.
We were delighted to welcome special guests Francesca, founder of Il Vestito Verde, along with Andrea and Simone from Drip Italy, who joined us for an afternoon of dialogue and exchange.
Three Organizations, One Shared Vision…

Each of the three organizations brought a unique perspective to the conversation.
Francesca shared the story behind Il Vestito Verde, offering insight into the important role consumers play through the choices they make every day. Andrea and Simone explored the power of communication in driving change, while Viviana spoke about Spazio 3R's commitment to preserving and passing on tailoring knowledge and craftsmanship.
After all, it is only when we understand what goes into making our clothes that we truly learn to value them.
"Vestiamo il Futuro was one of those special moments that reminds you anything is possible when you're not alone,"reflected the team from Drip Italy. "Meeting different organizations united by a common vision reassured us that we're moving in the right direction. Real change happens when we build connections and share our energy, ideas, and passions while keeping our eyes on a more responsible future."
The afternoon also included an interactive quiz that invited participants to test their knowledge and think differently about fashion.
How many liters of water are needed to produce a cotton T-shirt? What should we do when we're gifted pajamas from a well-known fast-fashion brand? How many jobs and skilled workers will the fashion industry be missing by 2029?
By engaging with these questions together, participants discovered how facts and data can help us see both the world—and our own choices—from a new perspective.
A Shared Manifesto for the Future of Fashion…

The final part of the event focused on creating a collective manifesto for the future of fashion.
Participants were invited to write down their commitments, hopes, and ideas for building a more sustainable industry.
"We commit to supporting organizations that take concrete action and promote a more sustainable and responsible system," wrote one participant.
"Coming together with new organizations and sharing our stories for the Fashion Revolution we dream of," wrote another.
"We commit to repairing as many garments as possible, supporting local fashion, and valuing craftsmanship."
These were just some of the ideas that emerged throughout the afternoon, ideas centered on caring for what we already own, making thoughtful choices, supporting local communities, and recognizing the importance of belonging to a network of people who care deeply about these issues.
"It was wonderful to see people participate so openly, asking questions, sharing doubts, and exchanging ideas," Francesca reflected. "Sustainable fashion works when we stop being spectators and start engaging with one another, building solutions together, and developing a critical understanding of the world around us."
That was the heart of Vestiamo il Futuro: creating a space for genuine connections, conversation, and collaboration as we imagine the future of fashion together.
A future where fashion is more mindful of the planet, respectful of workers' rights, focused on quality rather than quantity, and capable of inspiring new generations through creativity, craftsmanship, and hands-on experience.
A special thank you to Francesca, Andrea, Simone, and the entire Drip Italy team for their contributions and for sharing our belief that meaningful change is possible when we work together.
