From Creativity to Action: a collaboration for CREA Conference

From personal inquiry to community...

“I am a facilitator of creative processes and a career coach. And above all, I am a woman who asks herself a thousand questions about the meaning of life”. This is how Alessia introduces herself when talking about how her experience with the CREA Conference project began.

Over time, this journey has intertwined with her professional work and her desire to support others in finding their own path. The common thread is the wish to create spaces where people can think differently. “I want to create contexts where both individual and collective potential can flourish”, she explains.

Training creative thinking, together...

CREA is a learning community created to develop a skill that is often considered abstract: creativity.

Through workshops and interactive experiences, participants are guided through a process that is “both a moment of inspiration and a way to help people see things differently while bringing home concrete skills”.

For the event, Spazio 3R created tote bags using leftover high-quality fabrics and ribbons. These were then personalized by a team of volunteers, who gave each bag its own unique character.

The goal is not only to generate ideas, but to learn how to navigate complexity and build solutions together, using creativity as a tool that can activate emotions and strengths we often keep hidden.

In our workshops, we see this every day: in the work of the seamstresses, in activities with children, and in group workshops. As also experienced during the CREA Conference, creativity has the power to break down barriers and create meaningful connections.

A collaboration that reflects shared values...

When CREA chose us as a partner three years ago, it did so with a clear vision: to build an event that is increasingly sustainable, authentic, and aligned with a sense of community. “Choosing Spazio 3R meant finding a partner aligned with this vision”, they explain. Over time, this collaboration has become an integral part of the experience itself. The tote bags made by our seamstresses are later decorated by hand by the REDS team, a group of volunteers who manage the conference logistics.

Through bold colors and handwritten messages, the bags become more than objects, they turn into a space for expression, “a channel for dialogue and artistic expression… a way to surprise participants with originality”.

In this collaboration, creativity is no longer an abstract concept. It takes shape through gestures, materials, and relationships. It is shared work that shows how, when visions and values align, even the smallest details can carry meaning.
