Last summer, our workshops turned shades of blue for a special collaboration with ZEROBARRACENTO. From this ocean of fabrics, we flew straight to Paris for the presentation of the collection.

Fashion as a Tool for Environmental and Social Renewal

Camilla, zero-waste designer and founder of ZEROBARRACENTO, asked our seamstresses to produce her concept collection, All Seasons Collection, created in collaboration with Clivet—a company that for 35 years has developed advanced systems for air conditioning, heating, air renewal, and purification, with the goal of ensuring air quality and natural comfort in every building. “Spazio 3R was chosen because it represents a human and inclusive production model,” Camilla explains, “one that values the work of vulnerable women by integrating them into the fashion world. Entrusting production to them means transforming fashion into a tool for social as well as environmental renewal.”

Sustainability and Made in Italy as a Common Thread

The collection embodies sustainability at 360 degrees: the entire supply chain is fully Made in Italy. The fabric is Bemberg™ cupro produced by Brunello S.p.A., known for its softness and fluid fit, while production was entrusted to our workshop using a zero-waste technique. The result is three unisex garments, including a blouse, a kimono, and a pair of trousers, available in two sizes and designed to be worn across all seasons. Each piece reflects careful attention to detail and a strong focus on quality. As Camilla states, “The goal was to convey the value of responsible comfort—garments that make the wearer feel good while respecting both people and the planet. We wanted to tell the story of inclusive, timeless fashion that is environmentally conscious, combining aesthetics, functionality, and ethical values, and encouraging a new idea of responsible elegance.”

The Presentation Event in Paris

The collection was presented in September in Paris, in an elegant neighborhood near Place de la République. Viviana, Head of Communications at Spazio 3R, attended the event. The deep blue of the garments became the protagonist of the space, carefully curated with collection photography and the pieces themselves on display. During the event, guests who tried on the garments were struck by the softness of the fabric and experienced firsthand the natural comfort promoted by Clivet inside the pop-up store.

Shared Values

“ZEROBARRACENTO and Spazio 3R share a strong environmental and social responsibility, a conscious and inclusive design approach, and deep attention to the well-being of everyone involved in the supply chain,” Camilla affirms. She concludes, “Both believe in the power of fashion as a means to promote real change, offering dignified work and reducing waste.”

This collaboration represents a powerful example of shared values, resources, and tools. Once again, it demonstrates how the synergy of different forces can create unique, high-quality products while keeping a careful eye on the people involved. And the icing on the cake was presenting garments made by our seamstresses in a city like Paris, the European capital of fashion, always ready to embrace innovation with a forward-looking spirit.
